2010 Tour Recap

cut and run 300 x 168

The Cut and Run 2010 tour was finalized earlier this month. In total, this year’s line up traveled to 12 stops throughout the country. Mallary and I are very grateful to have been able to realize this journey and to have met so many creative and supportive people throughout the tour. We would like to give thanks to all the filmmakers, venues, donors, audiences, and our families. Exhibiting experimental film and video to fresh audiences and keeping the underground film culture alive has been our aim and we could not have carried out that dream without you.

On another note, we would like to add that we do have plans for a 2011 European tour and are taking submissions as you read this. If you’d like to submit your work please email us at cutandruntour@gmail.com for more info.

And now I will leave you with some photos from the tour!

  • A BIT ABOUT OUR START

Cut and Run kicked off its first screening in April of 2009 at the Artists' Television Access in San Francisco. Following the show, it was decided that the Cut and Run would live on and produce various types of film screenings including a tour of microcinemas and other venues along the US West Coast, a guerilla screening on the SF MUNI rail system, and now a national tour of experimental shorts.
