Bad Movie Benefit at Argus Lounge

Got a bad film you’ve been secretly wanting to screen? Here’s your chance to share it with all your friends and other inebriated onlookers. Best worst film gets a mystery prize!

Wednesday, Sept 15th at 8PM will be “Bad Movie Night” at Argus Lounge, 3197 Mission St in San Francisco. All proceeds go to benefiting Cut and Run Tour, a traveling film festival specializing in the exhibition of short avant-garde and experimental video and film programs.

$2 dollar entrance fee (sliding scale) and drink ticket raffles throughout the night!

Tunes by DJ Squid (Punk+Core+Post+Wave+ Alt Rock Music) and pool table in the back room

*films should be under 10 mins, DVD format, and have been made by you!

  • A BIT ABOUT OUR START

    Cut and Run kicked off its first screening in April of 2009 at the Artists' Television Access in San Francisco. Following the show, it was decided that the Cut and Run would live on and produce various types of film screenings including a tour of microcinemas and other venues along the US West Coast, a guerilla screening on the SF MUNI rail system, and now a national tour of experimental shorts.
